Introduction to computer aided design of engineering systems, with a focus on deterministic and continuous methods including linear programming, convex programming. Special attentions are paid to topology optimization methods and machine learning based methods.

MECE3369 – Solid Mechanics
Intermediate studies of the principles of stress analysis, buckling, energy methods, and the theories of failure; includes practical applications.
